> INFORMATION WE COLLECT

If you voluntarily join the transmission list, we may collect:

• First name and, if provided, last name.
• Email address.
• The date and time of your signup and the consent statement you accepted.
• General browser, operating system, and device-type information.
• The referring page, when your browser provides one.
• Campaign parameters such as UTM source, medium, and campaign.
• A one-way cryptographic hash derived from your IP address for basic security and abuse detection. We do not intentionally store your raw IP address in the subscriber table.

> HOW WE USE INFORMATION

We use this information to:

• Maintain the Dead Channel Video interest/subscriber list.
• Understand how people discover the project.
• Understand broad device and browser usage.
• Prevent or investigate abusive or automated signups.
• Send Dead Channel Video development, release, or project updates if and when email updates are launched.

> EMAIL CONSENT

Joining the transmission list is voluntary. At signup, you are asked to confirm that you want to receive Dead Channel Video development and release updates.

If email updates are launched, messages will include an appropriate way to unsubscribe. Commercial email is subject to applicable email marketing rules, including requirements concerning sender identification and opt-out handling.

> DATA STORAGE

Subscriber information is currently stored in a private database associated with the Dead Channel Video website hosting environment. Administrative access to subscriber records is password protected.

We use reasonable technical measures intended to protect the data, but no internet-connected system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

> SHARING AND SALE

We do not sell subscriber information. We do not currently use the subscriber information collected through this site for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Information may be processed by service providers that are necessary to operate the website, hosting, database, or future email delivery services. If an email provider is added later, this notice may be updated to reflect that service.

> RETENTION AND YOUR CHOICES

Subscriber records may be retained while you remain subscribed and for a reasonable period afterward when needed for security, recordkeeping, or suppression of future unwanted messages.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of information associated with your signup. You may also ask to be removed from the transmission list.

> CHILDREN

The transmission list is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that such information was submitted, we may delete it.

> CHANGES TO THIS NOTICE

This privacy notice may be updated as Dead Channel Video develops, particularly if analytics, email delivery, or other services are added. The date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
